Important: This is a launch-ready draft, not jurisdiction-specific legal advice. Replace placeholders and reconcile this policy with the exact analytics, hosting, email and payment services actually used on the live site.
01 / Summary
We aim to collect only what is needed to operate the DevsStack website, support customers and process purchases. The product itself is designed around local-first workspace data.
02 / Website data
The website may receive technical information such as browser type, device characteristics, approximate region and pages visited when standard hosting, security or analytics systems are enabled. If analytics are not enabled, do not claim they are collected.
Contact information you voluntarily send through the Contact page may be used to answer your request. The current static contact form prepares an email in the visitor’s email client rather than transmitting the message to a DevsStack server.
03 / Product data
The current DevsStack app is local-first: workspace data such as clients, projects, invoices, expenses and time records is intended to remain on the user’s device/browser unless a later product version explicitly adds a cloud service.
Users are responsible for keeping backups and exported copies of important business data.
04 / Payments
When you purchase DevsStack, payment and billing information is handled by the payment processor linked from the checkout page. DevsStack should not request or store full payment-card details directly unless the architecture and compliance program explicitly support it.
Before launch, name the exact payment processor and link to its privacy terms from the final checkout experience.
06 / Your choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of personal information held about you, subject to applicable law and lawful exceptions.
To exercise a privacy request, use the Contact page with the subject “Privacy request”.
07 / Contact
Privacy questions should be sent through the Contact page. Configure the actual support email and operating entity details in the production configuration before launch.
